What is space?

The space between

this and that,

here and there,

today and tomorrow,

birth and death?

The space in between

dreams and thoughts,

words and stories,

past and future?

Emptiness and Fullness

Nothing and Everything

the Void.

It is a place

where non-existence dwells.

A gap between

the observer and the observed,

you and me,

my Self and the World.

It is a moment in time

where time does not exist,

tic tac, tic tac

no history, no time.

What is this in between?

The empty space between two forms,

two objects, two people

A moment between a thought and a word,

an image and a feeling.

The space between night and day,

dusk and dawn.

The space between fear and love,

control and surrender.

This space named Now,

where nothing yet is

and everything is possible.

An artist's empty canvas,

the picture yet to be painted,

a Storyteller's Book,

yet to be written.

Do I create or let my Self be created?

Be the story or follow the story?

The space in between

is the River of Life.

One big scattered puzzle,

floating unconscious

in empty space.

Seperated and alone,

no picture, no story.

so it seems...

Thought thinks,

what if I join some pieces together?

This one and that one,

over there, right here,

do they match, do they fit?

Puzzle pieces become a picture,

a picture becomes a story,

a relationship, a galaxy.
